Brian S. Bochner, P.E. (F) has been a consulting traffic and transportation engineer since obtaining his M.S.C.E. in traffic and transportation engineering from the University of California. He is Senior Vice President of Parsons Transportation Group in Chicago, Ill., USA. He served as Chair of ITE's Coordinating Council and was its representative on ITE's Board of Direction from 1994 to 1996. Bochner previously served as Chair of the Technical Council, in which he had been active for more than 15 years. He also has been involved in activities of ITE Districts 4, 5 and 9, being named Transportation Engineer of the Year by the Texas Section in 1991. He has served as an instructor for several ITE seminars, authored a chapter of ITE's Transportation Planning Handbook and written several papers presented at ITE and other meetings. He was ITE International President in 1998.
