Julien H. Harvey

Julien H. Harvey was an esteemed individual of the National Safety Council.  Mr. Harvey was born in 1884 and had been active in ITE since 1941.  He became President of the Kansas City Safety Council in 1916 after working in industrial accident prevention programs.  For nine years after that he headed the National Safety Council's local safety council work and also served in later years as Executive Vice President of the Greater New York Safety Council, and from 1938 to 1951 as Manager of the Accident Prevention Department of the Association of Casualty and Surety Companies.  From 1953 to 1955 he was Managing Director of the New Haven Connecticut Safety Council.

He was a graduate of the Kansas City, Missouri School of Law, a Director of the National Safety Council, a life member of the American Society of Safety Engineers and Vice Chairman of the National Committee for Traffic Safety.
