Transportation is the cornerstone of communities, driving the economy, improving the quality of life, and is responsible for helping residents, workers, and travelers get from point to point. As the association of transportation professionals dedicated to creation of mobility, safe, and sustainable transportation options for all users, ITE is seeking visible and dynamic illustrations of the transformational impact of transportation on our communities.

Here is your mission: Create a video under two-minutes that celebrates the transportation industry, educates the public about the many exciting facets of transportation, emphasizes safety, inclusion, equity, and other values that enhance/positively impact our communities. The videos could be used, for example, in classrooms for a STEM event to encourage careers in transportation and explain how they positively impact communities. The intention is not to promote a particular company, but the profession/career.

Inspiration for this Competition: ITE member Shawn Leight's team at CBB produced a video as a way to bond and to get enthusiastic about the transportation industry. They created a script, worked as a team to refine the messaging, and the result is quite extraordinary.  ITE is using this as the inspiration for the ITE 2021 Video Challenge: Transportation Transforms Communities. Watch the CBB Team’s video here and get inspired to create your own video!
