Webinar Description:
The ITE Safety Roadmap and Action Plan represents a pivotal step forward in our collective journey toward achieving zero roadway fatalities. Developed through the dedication of ITE’s volunteer members and staff, this roadmap outlines a clear, actionable path for integrating safety into every aspect of the transportation profession. By leveraging resources, fostering innovative partnerships, and committing to evidence-based, data-driven interventions, ITE is leading the charge toward a safer, more resilient transportation network.
This webinar will provide an overview of the ITE Safety Roadmap and Action Plan and then highlight three key implementation actions aligned with the roadmap’s five goal areas. Attendees will gain insights into ITE’s Duty of Care (I-2) and how professionals can embed safety into decision-making, the ITE Safety Pledge (I-6) and its role in fostering a culture of accountability and commitment to achieving zero roadway fatalities, and Road Safety Audit Training (PD-4) as a critical tool for identifying and addressing roadway hazards.
By equipping transportation professionals with the knowledge and resources needed to turn vision into action, ITE is strengthening the profession’s commitment to safety. Join us to learn how you can contribute to these efforts and help shape a future where every road user arrives safely at their destination.
