ITE Certificate Course & Training Programs

ITE is committed to the education of the transportation industry therefore we have begun the ITE Certificate Program. The ITE Certificate Program will consist of training courses that provide certificates of achievement in a specific area and level of knowledge. We are in development of additional Certificate Program offerings moving forward and will share more information as they are developed. Transportation Professional Certification Practice Exams and Refresher Courses

ITE Educational Foundation offers practice exams and refresher courses for the Professional Traffic Operations Engineer® (PTOE), Professional Transportation Planner® (PTP), Road Safety Professional®, Level 1 (RSP1), and Road Safety Professional®, Level 2 (RSP2) certifications. Group Pricing Opportunities 

ITE strives to provide you with convenient avenues to continue your education. Given the number of requests for group learning, ITE has the opportunity for group learning at a discounted price. This provides the opportunity to groups who would like to view the PTOE Refresher Course and receive PDH credit in a group setting at their own leisure. ITE Talks Transportation Podcast

ITE Talks Transportation is a collaboration between ITE and Bernie Wagenblast, founder and editor of the Transportation Communication Newsletter and host of Transportation Radio. Each month, a new podcast features a thought leader within the transportation industry. A new episode will be available the 4th Tuesday of every month. Access the repository of podcasts here.

PDH/CM Credits 

The ITE Learning Hub provides professional development opportunities for you to maintain your P.E. license and AICP, PTOE, PTP and/or RSP certification(s). ITE considers unique state continuing education and training requirement when developing our webinars in an effort to provide a well-rounded portfolio for our nationwide audience.

Professional Development Record-Keeping System

ITE has set up the Professional Development Record-Keeping System as a tool for transportation professionals to keep track of credits earned. Units of activities entered in a log will be converted into Professional Development Hours (PDH) or Certification Maintenence credits (AICP). The log created by the ITE Professional Development Record Keeping System conforms to the guidelines set forth by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES). This system is an ITE member benefit. Click here to access.

For ITE Members: Take advantage of the Professional Development Record-Keeping System to make tracking your credits easier. Benefits of the new system:

  • Synced with the ITE Learning Hub; credits earned through the ITE Learning Hub will now be automatically populated to this new system
  • Can track both PDH and AICP credits
  • Externally earned credits can be manually entered
  • Transcripts can be customized by date range and/or PDH or AICP
