Young Leaders to Follow

ITE wants to shine a spotlight on the best, up-and-coming young leaders across all of ITE.

The 2025 application period is open! Apply Today

This program will help ITE recognize and highlight younger ITE members who may otherwise not be visible at the highest levels of ITE.  The purpose of this program is to recognize those individuals starting to make an impact on ITE at the chapter, section, or district or international levels and in their profession and to introduce these young members to the greater ITE Community.

Eligible Candidates

Eligible candidates for this program include any ITE member actively involved in ITE (at the chapter, section, district, or international level), and 35 years old or younger on January 1, 2024.

Individuals selected as the Rising Star in their District will automatically be included if they have not been previously recognized as an “ITE Young Leader to Follow.” Additional selections will provide an opportunity to recognize a broader pool of young volunteers and those who have been particularly active at the International level.

We expect to recognize 20 young leaders annually.

Application/Nomination Process

In an effort to encourage the broadest pool of candidates we have several ways to take nominations, including, self-nomination, peer nomination, and employer nomination.  The application process will be open to everybody and equally allow all candidates to apply.  The application will focus on both professional accomplishment and involvement/experience with ITE.  You can apply here: ite-youngleaders.secure-platform.com/a

The ITE Younger Member of the Year Award will be chosen from the entire pool of ITE Young Leaders to Follow.
