PDH Information

The ITE Learning Hub provides professional development opportunities for you to maintain your P.E. license and AICP, PTOE, and/or PTP certification(s).
ITE considers unique state continuing education and training requirement when developing our webinars in an effort to provide a well-rounded portfolio for our nationwide audience. ITE and the ITE Educational Foundation are approved providers of continuing education and training in most states including Florida (#0003871), Indiana, Louisiana (CPD: 0000330), Maryland, New Jersey; and New York (State Sponsor #169).

According to NCEES Continuing Professional Competency Guidelines, PDHs may be earned for any of the following ITE activities that are of professional or technical nature:

1.0 hour is equivalent to 1.0 PDH for participating in an ITE:

1.0 hour is equivalent to 2.0 PDHs for serving as a presenter/speaker at an ITE:

  • Webinar
  • Annual Meeting and Exhibit Technical Sessions
  • Workshops
  • Local District, Section or Chapter Events of Technical Nature (ITE HQ approval required, See guidelines mentioned above)

5 PDH Credits can be earned for authoring an:*

  • Article/Paper of professional or technical nature published in the ITE Journal**

*This does not include ITE Journal news briefs, member spotlights, etc.

10 PDH Credits can be earned for authoring an:

  • ITE Recommended Practice (RP), Informational Report (IR), or other publication published by ITE that has gone under peer review.
    • RPs and IRs are typically developed at the council level.

2.0 PDH Credits can be earned per organization for being involved in an:*

*You cannot earn more than 2 credits, even if you are involved in more than one committee at that organization.
