Since 1996 the National Communication for ITS Protocol (NTCIP) has served as the leading organization for supporting and implementing ITS and its related standards. In partnership with ITE, and maintained by the National Electical Manufacturers Association(NEMA), NTCIP serves as the leading advocate and archivist to facilitate efforts to maintain, catalog existing, and develop current standards, while preserving completed published and archived standards. The list below provides the most current and up to date efforts of these ITS standards in cooperation with ITE.
